iPod playlist

Keep your entire library on your iPod OR select about ten different artists and their top two albums and go simple when out and about. Sometimes it is good not to have access to any song you want. This makes you more intentional about the music you listen to, like it used to be when listening to albums, or CDs.

Pianos

Get your piano tuned every year. Sit and listen to your piano getting tuned…it’s mesmerizing.

Whistling

Learn to whistle in as many ways as possible. Use whistling for:

1) Expressing happiness

2) Passing the time

3) Letting a performer know how well they did

The Car Radio

Never ever listen to the car radio. You will be taking in too much advertising and songs that someone you don’t trust is deciding to play. The only possible exception to this is local radio, WERS 88.9, for example.

Instead, use the ipod.

Listening to WAAF is allowed when working out at the WPI Gym.

Earplugs

system D1.89.5

Wear earplugs at loud music events. Do not forget them. This is only a version .5 because I am still experimenting. Use clear wax ones because they are invisible to onlookers. Or use the bright orange ones when your appearance doesn’t matter as much. In emergencies use toilet paper or tissues, or napkins.

Guitar

system D1.10.9

Have an acoustic guitar. Use blue or green dunlop picks. Use a clamp-type capo. Play everyday.
